Brian Lieberman

Physical Therapist Assistant

BIO

Brian grew up in Williamson, NY and now lives in Rochester. He earned his Physical Therapist Assistant license after graduating from Genesee Community College, making the decision to pursue physical therapy later in life after a meaningful personal journey.

In his early 20s, Brian was a physical therapy patient for many years. During that time, his physical therapist became a mentor and encouraged him to consider the profession. Although he initially chose a different path, the idea stayed with him. When the time came for a career change in his late 30s, he decided to follow that calling and has not looked back since. Having been a patient himself, Brian understands firsthand the dedication and hard work it takes to see progress, which allows him to connect with patients on a deeper level.

Brian has a particular interest in working with individuals experiencing chronic pain. He is motivated by the opportunity to help, educate, and empower people, guiding them toward improved function and confidence. His approach is grounded in kindness, open-mindedness, and a genuine desire to support others in reaching their goals.

Outside of the clinic, Brian enjoys staying active through hiking, biking, and rollerblading. He also has a unique hobby of digging for crystals. At home, he shares his space with three cats, a few fish, and a frog. When he has the chance to travel, he enjoys visiting Toronto and spending time in the Adirondacks. A favorite book of his, 8 Keys to Brain Body Balance by Robert Scaer, reflects his interest in the connection between the brain and body and continues to influence his perspective on care.
