WHAT TO EXPECT
In your initial visit, your therapist will assess your strength, gait, reaction time, and balance. They’ll also ask about any past falls, dizziness, or concerns with mobility. Based on this, you’ll get a personalized plan focused on reducing your risk of falling.
Sessions may include balance challenges, strength training, coordination drills, and real-world movement practice like navigating curbs or uneven ground. You’ll also receive simple exercises to continue at home, along with education on footwear, home safety, and ways to feel more secure during daily activities.
