Danny was born and raised in Western New York. He attended Canisius University, where completed a five year program majoring in accounting and finance while earning his MBA. After college he worked in public accounting as a CPA, specializing in the healthcare industry. He leveraged that specialization to go on to work for a large integrated health system in the WNY area as a director of finance in Home and Community Based Care as well as the Corporate and Ambulatory entities.

Through those professional experiences, he gained an appreciation for community care and how service levels outside larger institutional settings are often more impactful on people’s lives. With this in mind, he looked to have a more positive effect on his own community and decided to join the Burd Physical Therapy family.

He now oversees the financial well-being of all three physical therapy clinics as well as their sister company Burd Home Health. It is his goal to support continued growth in both companies while fostering the family spirit they are built upon.

Outside the office Danny and his wife Meghan share a passion for travel, music, and the creative arts. He is an avid Buffalo sports fan with season tickets to the Bills and the Sabres. They have two dogs, Blue Cheese and Zola, and are welcoming their first child in early 2024!
