Peripheral Neuropathy

Many people suffer from lower extremity pain, numbness, and tingling that can result in them losing sleep and avoiding exercise.

There are many reasons that this can occur, although one of the main reasons is peripheral neuropathy (or diabetic nerve pain) which is caused by nerves damaged by diabetes.

Did you know that physical therapy can help ease the symptoms of this condition? At BURD PT, we develop personalized treatment plans for our patients suffering from peripheral neuropathy.

Our main goal of treatment is to decrease your pain and discomfort, which ultimately will also help with the following:

- Improving your sleep with less restlessness

- Walking pain-free with better balance and fewer falls

- Rebuilding muscle strength

- A decreased reliance on pain medications.
