“By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.”

One key element to proper treatment is preparation. We do everything we can to prepare

ourselves and our treatment plan to best fit the needs and goals of our patients.

One of the biggest things we do to prepare is to consider the patient’s goals. That’s a large part of our treatment plan, involving the patient and their goals. We then determine what

interventions to take that will allow them to feel like they’re a part of the treatment plan and working toward what they want to achieve.

For post-op patients, we make sure we have the appropriate post-surgical protocol, and if not we make sure to contact the surgeon’s office. During intake, our office managers ask a fair number of questions regarding the patient’s history and what they are coming in for. We review intake or prescriptions for physical therapy prior to the evaluation to ensure that we’re prepared. It's our mission that when you walk through our doors you're greeted by a PT who is ready and prepared for you!
